On January 25-26 2023, PT Geoforce Indonesia has successfully held a 2022 PERFORMANCE EVALUATION AND 2023 WORK PLAN MEETING. This meeting is intended for all divisions in PT Geoforce Indonesia.

Nimas Puteri as the host opened this Meeting along with other employees with full enthusiasm, cheerfulness and enthusiasm. This meeting began with the giving of remarks from Mr. Puji Widodo as the Main Commissioner and Mr. Dandung Sri Harninto as the Main Director of PT Geoforce Indonesia. The material presented from each division includes performance achievements in 2022 and Work Plans for 2023.

 In this session each Division displays what activities have been carried out and how the performance of these activities is for the company. This event is routinely held once a year at PT Geoforce Indonesia, while the purpose of holding this work evaluation is to correct the deficiencies and obstacles faced by each division and to achieve better company targets in the coming year. This event was also filled with a number of interesting games that honed the cohesiveness of employees and knowledge about the products available at PT Geoforce Indonesia.

"We can certainly realize Green Construction (Green Construction) by minimizing construction's carbon footprint," said the Sales, Marketing & Engineering Director of PT. Geoforce Indonesia Mr. Abdul Aziz Avicenna M.T., as a guest speaker at the Claproyex Talkshow and Expo 6 with the theme "Viewing Green Industrial Area Infrastructure Development Supporting Indonesia's Future" Sunday, September 11, 2022. The event was organized by Clapeyron Media Civil Engineering Student Magazine, University of Gajah Mada it aims that the Indonesian people can enrich their knowledge about the importance of infrastructure development and green areas that are oriented towards Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

On his occasion, Mr. Aziz explained several ways to realize Green Construction by minimizing construction's carbon footprint. Among them, namely, maximizing the use of local products so as to increase the Domestic Component Level (TKDN). Reducing waste production by maximizing the use of materials that can be recycled (Recycle Materials) and trying to minimize the use of iron and concrete and replace them by using the Geosynthetic Technology System.

One of the Geosynthetic Technology Systems that can be applied as an alternative solution to Green Construction is Facing Green using Geoframe. Geoframe is a Retaining Wall Construction Innovation from compacted heap soil with a Geogrid reinforcement system. Geogrids are designed with high durability so they are resistant to organic bacteria and soil acidity. The facing Geoframe is made of a galvanized iron frame which can later be planted with green vines so that it looks neater, beautiful and environmentally friendly, of course this supports the application of the Green Construction concept. The use of the Geoframe system also has other advantages, including a fast installation process, very competitive prices, and very flexible products.-

On Saturday, 20 August 2022, Mr. Dandung Sri Harninto, ST., MT., IPU., as the main director of PT. Geoforce Indonesia had the opportunity to become one of the presenters at a guest lecture organized by the Islamic University of Riau's Civil Engineering Masters Study Program with the theme The Role of Civil Engineering Masters (Geotech and Roads) in Infrastructure Development.

On his occasion, Mr. Dandung explained several important discussions including regarding Alternatives to Construction of Retaining Walls and Slope Improvements Using Geosynthetic Technology as well as discussions on Prefabricated Vertical Drain (PVD), Prefabricated Horizontal Drain (PHD), Double Vacuum System, and Monitoring of Geotechnical Instrumentation. The use of PVD aims to accelerate the release of pore water so that the soil consolidation process occurs more quickly. Soil criteria in question are soft clay, low carrying capacity, and compressible (capable of being compressed). PVD serves to shorten the water travel distance in the soil pores, because water will flow laterally to the nearest canal. This can reduce the time it takes to compact the soil.

Furthermore, there are two alternatives available for Earth Retaining Wall Innovations with Geosynthetic Technology, namely Concrete Facing Geoforce Segmental Retaining Wall (GSRW) and Facing Green using Geoframes. The GSRW system can be used on flyover oprits and is considered to be more effective, efficient and economical because it uses relatively thin concrete panels and a much lighter structure compared to conventional methods. Besides that, the Facing Green or Geoframe system can also be a very safe alternative for high embankment stabilization if it is designed according to standards. Tuesday, 19 April 2022, PT. Geoforce Indonesia held a Tasyakuran and Iftar event in commemoration of the company's 16th anniversary. Unlike the previous two years, even though it is still in the midst of a pandemic that is almost over, PT Geoforce Indonesia's birthday this time was held at the Barakatul Huffadz Workshop PT Mosque. Geoforce Indonesia by inviting the entire extended family of PT. Geoforce Indonesia starts from the board of directors, employees, as well as ustadz and students of the IQRO Bekasi Tahfizh Al-Qur'an Islamic Boarding School.

Mr. Puji Widodo as the Main Commissioner in his remarks said that it is fitting that in this blessed month of Ramadan we can maximize our worship in addition to our work, especially in the last 10 days of Ramadan. The hope is that by reflecting on ourselves, and increasing worship as well as possible, then all aspects of our life will also increase. Starting from the personal, family, and employee performance aspects to jointly build Geoforce Indonesia to be more successful, advanced, blessed, and victorious.

Mr. Dandung Sri Harninto (Principal Director) added in his next remarks that the most important thing is to always make an effort, pray and be grateful. "Alhamdulillah, thanks to all of our hard work and of course the grace and mercy of Allah SWT, PT. Geoforce Indonesia has been established for 16 years and continues to grow despite experiencing ups and downs, especially while facing this pandemic together," he said. Mr. Dandung also hopes that PT. Geoforce Indonesia can bring blessings and benefits to employees and their families, continue to be creative and innovate in developing geosynthetics, also getting more compact with better capacity. In addition to holding Tasyakuran and Iftar events, PT Geoforce Indonesia also held a "Video Competition", namely a competition for making creative videos that were participated in by employees of PT. PT Geoforce Indonesia has had the opportunity to be a guest speaker at the Regional Seminar organized by the Indonesian Soil Engineering Association (HATTI) of the South Kalimantan Regional Commissariat online on Wednesday, 16 February 2022. The Indonesian Soil Engineering Expert Association (HATTI) is an organization that gathers all geotechnical experts in Indonesia as well as a member of the International Society for Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE) in Indonesia. HATTI was established with the aim of developing geotechnical expertise, improving quality, welfare, unity and integrity of all geotechnical experts in Indonesia and participating in the development of the nation and state of the Republic of Indonesia.

The Regional Seminar with the theme "Potential for Building Failure and Slope Failure in South Kalimantan" was also attended by representatives of government agencies, namely the Head of BPBD Banjarmasin City Fahruaji, S. Sos. MA, and Plt. Head of PUPR Office for Banjarmasin City Riny Subantari, M.T. Also attended by several HATTI figures as other speakers namely Dr. Yusti Yudiawati, S.T., M.T (Chairman of HATTI South Kalimantan), Dr. Aksan Kawanda, M.T (Central HATTI), Ir. H. Rustam Effendi, M.A.Sc., Ph.D., Ir. H. Akhmad Marzuki, M.T., and Dr. ing. Ir. Yulian F. Arifin, M.T., IPM., ASEAN Eng. At this seminar, PT Geoforce Indonesia, represented by Dandung Sri Harninto, S.T., M.T., as the Main Director and Nadya Ayu Anindita, S.T., (Geotechnical Engineer) gave a presentation on a Case Study of Improvement of Subgrade Geoframe Piles with a Piled Embankment System. 

As an introduction to the material, Mr. Dandung introduced the various types of soil improvement and strengthening services offered by PT Geoforce Indonesia using geosynthetic technology. Furthermore, Ms. Dita explained about the Port B Geoframe Work in Tanah Bumbu, South Kalimantan as a Case Study of Improved Piled Base Soil with Piled Embankment System. In more detail, Mrs. Dita explained the case study material starting from the history of the embankment, the stability problems that occurred in the embankment structure, how the repair solution was, an analysis of the repairs that had been carried out, the piled embankment construction method procedure, and displaying the condition of the field after the repairs were carried out. The 8 meter high Geoframe system which is strengthened by the subgrade with the Piled Embankment method can withstand the load of double vessel trucks loaded up to 210 tons and has remained safe until now. Therefore, the Piled Embankment System can be a quick, efficient and of course safe solution for subgrade improvement of embankments.

PT Geoforce Indonesia menjadi salah satu partisipasi Sponsor GOLD di dalam acara Pertemuan Ilmiah Tahunan XXVI Himpunan Ahli Teknik Tanah Indonesia Tahun 2022

Maksud diadakannya Pertemuan Ilmiah Tahunan XXVI Himpunan Ahli Teknik Tanah Indonesia Tahun 2022 adalah sebagai tempat komunikasi dan tukar menukar informasi bagi para professional  yang  bergerak dalam bidang konstruksi geoteknik, khususnya pengembangan bidang geoteknik dalam pembangunan infrastruktur Indonesia 

Acara ini bertemakan Geotechnical Engineering To Support Sustainable Infrastructure Development From Theory to Practice. Isi dalam acara ini  terdiri dari : Seminar  / Pertemuan Ilmiah Tahunan ke XXVI, Kongres HATTI (Rapat Anggota / Pegurus Daerah), Pameran produk terkait jasa konstruksi  dan Diskusi. Kalangan yang hadir dalam PERTEMUAN ILMIAH TAHUNAN – HATTI XXVI Tahun 2022 meliputi : praktisi, pakar, dosen, peneliti, konsultan, kontraktor,  mahasiswa, instansi pemerintah / swasta dan lain lain kurang lebih dari 500 peserta. 

PT Geoforce Indonesia juga membuka Stand dalam acara ini, Di dalam Stand PT Geoforce Indonesia para pengunjung dapat melihat Mockup dari beberapa produk dari PT Geoforce Indonesia dan juga dapat menikmati Video 360 dari beberapa Proyek PT Geoforce Indonesia seperti GSRW di Kadusirung, Geoframe di  Hotel MNC Lido – Sukabumi dan  GBRW di Tol Depok Antasari (DESARI) 

Pada Sesi Technical Session PT Geoforce Indoenesia bapak Dandung Sri Harninto selaku Direktur Utama PT Geoforce Indonesia memberikan penjelasan mengenai Introduction of Individual / Direct Vacuum Preloading for Consolidation Acceleration. Penjelasan Bapak Dandung dalam sesi presentasi ini meliputi  Konsolidasi Vakum, Investigasi Tanah, Data Perhitungan dan Penyelesaian dan Data Instrumentasi Geoteknik 

 Tujuan yang ingin di capai pada Pertemuan Ilmiah Tahunan XXVI Himpunan Ahli Teknik Tanah Indonesia Tahun 2022 ini adalah dapat memberikan kesempatan kepada para peserta untuk menambah pengetahuan tentang perkembangan ilmu dan teknologi baru di bidang teknik sipil pada umumnya dan geoteknik pada khususnya.

Beberapa waktu lalu PT Geoforce Indonesia telah berhasil menerima kunjungan dari Mahasiswa dan Bapak/ Ibu Dosen Teknik Sipil Universitas Tadulako. Agenda Kunjungan Kuliah Lapangan ini  merupakan bagian dari mata kuliah Pelaksanaan Konstruski. Agenda kunjungan kuliah lapangan ini  di laksanakan 2 hari pada tanggl  18 dan 19 November 2022. 

Pada hari pertama Para Mahasiswa dan Bapak/ Ibu Dosen mengunjungi Proyek Geoframe Podomoro Golf View Cimanggis,  di lokasi  ini Para Mahasiswa dan Bapak/ Ibu Dosen disambut oleh Direktur HRD & GA  PT. Geoforce Indonesia, yaitu bapak Eko Agung Baskoro. Di proyek Geoframe Podomoro Golf View Cimanggis Team Engineering PT Geoforce Indonesia menjelaskan dengan mendetail mengenai proses pekerjaan pemasangan Geoframe di proyek tersebut. Diantaranya, mulai dari prosedur tahap awal yaitu pekerjaan persiapan seperti pembuatan direksi kit, pembukaan lahan dengan alat berat, proses fabrikasi sesuai dengan gambar dari tim engineer yang tentunya sudah final di lapangan, dan pelaksanaan Stake Out atau Join Survey dengan pihak Main Contractor untuk menentukan Mutual Check (MC0) batas-batas area pekerjaan Geoframe, elevasi, serta menampilkan sekilas tahap konstruksinya. Adapun keunggulan-keunggulan menggunakan sistem Geoframe tak luput dari pemaparan Team Engineering

Pada hari kedua Para Mahasiswa dan Bapak/ Ibu Dosen mengunjungi Proyek PVD dan Geomembrane Podomoro Park Bandung. di lokasi ini  Para Mahasiswa dan Bapak/ Ibu Dosen disambut oleh Direktur Utama  PT. Geoforce Indonesia, yaitu bapak Dandung Sri Harninto. Di proyek PVD dan Geomembrane Podomoro Park Bandung Team Engineering PT Geoforce Indonesia juga menjelaskan dengan mendetail mengenai proses pekerjaan pemasangan PVD dan Geomembrane di proyek tersebut.

Di dua lokasi ini Team Engineering PT Geoforce Indonesia juga memaparkan tentang berbagai poin penting dan tantangan yang memungkinkan terjadi di lapangan serta bagaimana cara menanganinya. “PT Geoforce Indonesia tidak hanya menjual, menyuplai suatu produk geosintetik beserta pekerjaan perbaikan tanahnya tetapi kami turut berupaya memberikan konsultasi dan solusi terkait hal-hal yang dibutuhkan client, seperti bagaimana permasalahan tanahnya? Apa metode yang tepat untuk permasalahan tanah tersebut? dsb.” jelasnya.

Tujuan diadakannya Kunjungan Kuliah Lapangan ini  selain untuk menambah ilmu juga wawasan, para Mahasiswa diajak untuk berpikir kreatif, memiliki pengalaman baru, serta dapat melihat dan mengetahui permasalahan di lapangan secara langsung.

Geoforce Segmental Retaining Wall (GSRW) sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk konstruksi dinding penahan tanah pada oprit flyover ini merupakan kombinasi dari aspek teknis (engineering), ekonomi dan seni. Demikian yang dikatakan oleh Direktur Utama PT. Geoforce Indonesia Ir. Dandung Sri Harninto, M.T., sebagai narasumber dalam acara Kuliah Tamu “Metode Konstruksi Perkuatan Tanah” yang diadakan Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta melalui zoom meeting, Sabtu 7 November 2020. Kuliah tamu ini dihadiri oleh mahasiswa program studi Teknik Sipil serta Prof Agus Setyo Muntohar selaku dosen pengampu mata kuliah Geoteknik.

Selanjutnya, Bapak Dandung menjelaskan keunggulan menggunakan GSRW diantaranya engineer geotek tidak perlu memasang pondasi yang terlalu panjang dan dalam seperti yang diterapkan pada sistem konvensional. Beban timbunan tidak diberatkan di satu titik tumpuan, melainkan disebarkan sehingga beban timbunan cukup merata. Oleh karena itu, penggunaan GSRW dinilai jauh lebih efektif, efisien dan ekonomis karena menggunakan panel yang relatif tipis dan struktur yang lebih ringan. 

Pada kuliah tamu kali ini, beliau juga memaparkan kepada mahasiswa bahwa seorang engineer geotek tidak cukup dengan hanya memahami ilmu geoteknik secara teori, tetapi bagaimana seorang engineer geotek mampu membuat suatu sistem atau metode untuk mengatasi berbagai tantangan yang ditemukan saat proses pekerjaan GSRW. Seperti halnya aktivitas sosial di lokasi pekerjaan sangat tinggi, lahan yang sempit dan sibuk, jadwal pekerjaan ketat, tanah timbunan yang tersedia non-granular, dan percepatan gempa tinggi. Engineer geotek juga diharapkan mampu memahami berbagai jenis kondisi tanah dengan segala karakteristiknya sehingga mampu berpikir kreatif dan inovatif memberikan solusi sistem geoteknik yang sesuai dengan kondisi tanah. Karena kondisi tanah di masing-masing daerah di Indonesia sangat spesifik perbedaannya.

Sebelum kuliah tamu ditutup, moderator berkesempatan membuka sesi tanya jawab antara mahasiswa UMY dengan bapak Dandung dan semua pertanyaan dikupas cukup mendalam oleh bapak Dandung selaku narasumber. Kuliah tamu ditutup dengan closing remark singkat yang disampaikan oleh Prof Agus Setyo Muntohar, beliau berharap para mahasiswa program studi Teknik Sipil UMY mampu memahami filosofi desai konstruksi secara manual sehaingga bisa menumbuhkan engineering feeling. Prof Agus juga beharap kuliah tamu seperti ini dapat berlanjut di lain waktu untuk menyiapkan para insinyur muda sebagai generasi pembangun bangsa.
